The High Five

The High Five

Hot Dish: Northside Nosh

See life through rose-colored glasses at Logan Square’s new cocktail lounge, The Pink Squirrel.  A cheery, pink, retro aesthetic provides classic entertainment (think a mini bowling alley patrons can reserve) and throwback-style cocktails like Harvey Wallbangers. (2414 N. Milwaukee Ave)

From the Press: Master Kraft

Kraft will debut its first Super Bowl advertisement during the 2018 championship game. The spot, entitled Family Greatly, focuses on the pressure most parents feel to be the “perfect parent.” Today’s socialscapes place unrealistic expectations on “perfection,” in everything from body image to family life. Kraft wants to communicate that there is no such thing as perfect, and parenting with love and intention is always the best option.

Vibe of the Week

Martin Luther King Jr.’s legacy is one of America’s greatest and most enduring. The words he spoke decades ago ring no less true today. So this week, we reflect on his life, but also on how we can incorporate his words, his vision and his into our everyday actions.

The time is always right to do what is right.
